11:25 Guest Speaker...Nadia Costa is a Senior Counsel in Miller Starr Regalia's Walnut Creek office. Her practice centers on land use and local government law. She and a male attorney, Joshua, volunteered through the Habeas Project to get Debbie Peagler out of prison. They uncover a trail of prosecutorial misconduct that began with Debbie.s arrest and that continues to the present day. Their discoveries sent Debbie.s case into the headlines and launched a movement that not only advocated for her own freedom, but that also raised a banner for battered women and the wrongfully imprisoned around the globe. This has made into a documentary movie that is called .Crime After Crime..
