One of the programs of the Educational Foundation is the Legal Advocacy Fund, which provides funds and a support system for individuals in higher education seeking judicial redress for denial of tenure and sex discrimination.
The AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund is the nation's largest legal fund focused solely on sex discrimination in higher education. Help balance the scales of justice for women in higher education. Contribute to the AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund, a 501(c)(3) charity, today. Contributions are tax deductible for income tax purposes.
Since 1981 the AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund has helped students, faculty, staff, and administrators in higher education challenge discriminatory practices: practices such as sexual harassment, denial of tenure or promotion, pay inequity, and inequality in women's athletics programs.
